The Existing NS190 From Gold Street To Meopham
-
Scenic
These extended long ranges of Meopham, 1.3km away are the first view of the Luddesdown Valley. This path is a favourite with locals and vistors alike, it links with 4 other Public Rights of Way, is the only right of way that has it's own dedicated footbridge, and joins the nationally recognised 'Wealdway'.
-
The Wealdway
NS190 crosses the footbridge where it then bisects the famous 'Wealdway' - an 83 mile / 134 km path that links 3 National Landscapes, of which this is one.
The Wealdway actually takes in Luddesdown and Sole Street in 2 locations (here and from the main Sole Street road) and the winery/bottling facility will be visible from both. -
Under Threat
Immediately as you enter this section traffic will pass across you from a winery / bottling facility. Employees, delivery vehicles, visitors to wine tastings (alcohol) and permitted outdoor events (e.g. weddings) for up to 28 days a year will cross this path.
